District signs Wastewater Flagship Project agreement with WTA

The District recently signed a Wastewater Flagship Project agreement with the Water Technology Alliance (WTA), a Danish water utility consortium operating out of the Danish Consulate in Chicago. The agreement recognizes the wastewater treatment center as a Wastewater Flagship, an example of Danish methods and technologies that optimize processes with a particular emphasis on the energy profile of the facility.
