The Electrical Technician performs preventive maintenance and repair work on electrical equipment located at the Wastewater Treatment Center, Administration Center and at remote pumping stations, as well as mobile equipment such as vehicles, sewer system equipment, and portable generators.
The current salary range for the position is is $34.18 to $51.27 per hour.
District employees in this position must reside within a 30-minute travel time from the District’s Wastewater Treatment Center located at 5003 Walnut Avenue, Downers Grove. A successful candidate must comply with this requirement within six months of employment.
