On Saturday, May 18, the District participated in the annual DuPage County River Sweep with a group from the Downers Grove First United Methodist Church. Volunteers picked up about 12 garbage bags full of debris along St. Joseph Creek south of our wastewater treatment plant. They even removed larger items like boards and pipes. Update 04/02/19: This position has been filled. The District currently has an opening for the position of Part-Time Accounting Assistant at the District’s Administration Center. The position performs governmental accounting functions including month-end accounting, bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries and other financial record keeping needs for the organization.
