Amended fees for liens effective Dec. 1

The DuPage County Board passed Ordinance Fl-0-0055-22 earlier this year which amended the Fee Schedule for Federal and Local Government Agencies. For District customers, this means the fees for filing and releasing liens are increasing from $25 to $114. Liens are filed on those properties with accounts more than 60 days past due OR have returned payments resulting in unpaid account balances (example: NSF, ACCT CLSD, ACCT FROZEN, STOPPED PAYMENT, etc.). Fees for filing and releasing liens are passed on to the customer.
