The District recently signed a Wastewater Flagship Project agreement with the Water Technology Alliance (WTA), a Danish water utility consortium operating out of the Danish Consulate in Chicago. The drop-off location for used cooking oil recycling has been relocated to outside the District’s Administration Center, 2710 Curtiss Street, on the east side of the building now available at all hours. District customers and residents in the surrounding area are encouraged to recycle their used cooking oil instead of pouring it down the drain or disposing of it in the garbage.
