In observance of Labor Day, the District’s administration center, located at 2710 Curtiss Road in Downers Grove, will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. The District’s office will reopen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7. If you are a customer experiencing a sewer backup, please call us at any time at (630) 969-0664 to report the incident. We have personnel on call at all hours.

The Downers Grove Sanitary District has canceled the 2021 Open House due to ongoing safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in lieu of the open house, the District will be opening its doors to the community on select dates and times throughout the month of September for tours of the wastewater treatment plant! The District currently has an opening for a full-time Operator position at the Wastewater Treatment Center. The position performs the daily operational tasks required to operate the Wastewater Treatment Center and reports directly to the Operations Supervisor. The pay range for the position is $24.80 to $37.19/hour (placement within this range is based on qualifications).
